Virtual Money

I ran across something in my husband’s briefcase earlier today as he was leaving for work. I’m a bit worried about it. Something like Pittsburgh filing bankruptcy was written across the top of it. It was in his handwriting. I definitely wasn’t expecting to run across anything like that. I just went in his briefcase to grab a few colored pens. We normally talk about everything. I wasn’t aware that we were under any financial duress, but this has me really concerned right now. I wish I could say the folder was something work-related but there is no part of his job description that deals with anything like that. I’m debating whether I should say something or not when he comes home from work. I don’t want him to think I was snooping around in his briefcase. I know that’s probably what it’s going to look like. If there is some kind of problem I don’t know why he would feel like he couldn’t talk to me about it. I think that’s what bothers me the most. Doesn’t he trust me? Well, I can only dwell on this for so long. I think if he doesn’t say anything by the end of the week I’m definitely going to speak up!
